Denise Cole started working as the Office Manager at Bashford in September 2006, while she was a graduate student at Edgewood College. Denise is originally from the west, and received a Bachelor of Arts in German from the University of Northern Colorado. Later, when she and her family were living in Vermont, she received a Masters of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School and completed requirements for ordination to Christian Ministry in the United Church of Christ. Denise moved the family to Wisconsin when she accepted a call to be a pastor of a church in Columbus. Her ministry focus is in rural and small town congregations. Currently, she is serving as the pastor of Dane Immanuel United Church of Christ. In 2008 Denise received a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College. She has opened a practice, Counseling Center of Mazomanie, providing therapy and pastoral counseling to individuals, couples and families. Denise is married to Brian Cole, and they have two daughters. She enjoys talking about her daughters and their dogs. Other interests include Madison Symphony Orchestra concerts, dining out, gardening, travel, and history.
